ever try unlocking an iPhone... huge pain, but I did it

I just unlocked an iPhone 3G, it was such a pain to find out how. But once I figured out how, it was easy to use the software tools provided. So I decided to list the steps just in case anyone else wanted to know.
To unlock the iPhone 3G with OS upgrade 4.1 (sorry don't know how to do it on any other phone)
1. Step one, you need to download the 4.1 OS for iphones from apple
2. Step 2, you need to download the firmware for iPad from apple
3.Step 3, download pwnage 4.1
4.step 4 run pwnage and choose the 3G and the 4.1 OS (ipsw file)
5.pwnage will do the rest, which is basically mash up the iphone os and the ipad os and some other magical code and creates a new OS, which you have to install with itunes 10
6. hold the 'option' key down when you click restore and choose the mashed up OS
